Volunteer doulas have completed their doula training - they are volunteering their time for the births they need to complete their certification. volunteer doulas are not required to donate their doula services as part of their certification. It is customary to compensate volunteer/donation doulas for transportation and additional expenses such as childcare.

Brigette has been a DONA certified birth doula since 2017
and has a wholehearted passion for supporting families throughout pregnancy and childbirth. It is her goal for women to become informed about the childbirth process and their options, and to help them become confident in their ability to give birth. Brigette strives to assist women in achieving a wonderful birth exerience as they define it. She provides judgment-free support while respecting the birthing mom’s choices and individual needs. She is also passionate about trauma informed care, mental health, and providing birth support through a trauma informed lens.
My name is Juana Browne and I have been a certified doula for over 12 years, serving the Central Florida area. I have a passion for supporting women through their motherhood journeys, in hospital births, home births, and birth center births. My goal is to help women and their partners by providing emotional, informational, and physical support, ensuring that they feel the most confident approaching their births. As a mother of four, I know that a woman's birth story becomes a permanent and critical part of who she is. It is my prayer to help memorialize one of their most vulnerable yet most powerful moments.
