How do I find childbirth education classes?

     Finding childbirth education classes to observe that meet DONA's requirements can be a challenge. Some popular childbirth education courses include the Bradley Method, Lamaze, ICEA, Hypnobirthing, Hypnobabies, Birthing From Within, BirthWorks.org, and FOCEP (Florida Outreach Childbirth Education Program).  
     I do offer an 8-hour zoom childbirth education course that will meet DONA's requirements. 
     Many doulas also become (or already are) childbirth educators.  Adding this certification to your list of qualifications is important today considering only one in three first time mothers take childbirth classes and in subsequent pregnancies only 17% take classes! You can teach classes or use the training to provide additional education for your doula clients.
