How do I get a job as a doula?

Most doula's are in private practice or work with a group, which means LOTS of networking and an understanding of marketing. These topics are covered at the doula training along with referrals to doula business resources.
There are doula agencies and doula collectives as well as non-profit organizations that have grants for doula programs, and some hospitals around the country offer doulas.
Once you have completed The Birth Company's doula workshop your name will be listed on the "Find a Doula" page either as a certified DONA doula or as a volunteer.

What doula trainees are saying about the workshops

I came away from the doula training with a very empowering driving force to make a difference.
