Are there pre-requisites to taking the doula training?

     I do not require that you complete pre-requisites before attending my doula training, other trainers may. It will, however, benefit you to begin the required reading or read more - there is always something to learn. You can also begin observing the required childbirth education classes.  
     When you become a member of DONA International you will receive the journal, and you can join DONA Connect a member only communication forum.  Your certification packet will be included with your notebook that you will receive at the training.
